Once your domain is actively pointed to the new service, you can enable the SSL/TLS Security. This will immediately start securing your domain.

Frequently Asked Questions

: Yes you will need to point your domain name, such as www.domain.com via a CNAME record to the Secure Shield domain assigned to your service. Some DNS providers have additional DNS record types such as ANAME which can be used for the root domain.
: As you will need to point the domain via a CNAME record, you will need to check with your DNS Provider if they allow CNAME records on root domains. This may be called an ANAME record with your provider. If you are unable to point your root domain to the service, we recommend pointing the www. sub-domain and then redirecting your root domain to your www sub-domain.
: Yes, you can add additional monthly bandwidth after your initial purchase by doing an upgrade on your service from within your SSLTrust account.
